Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the sportsdata MCP data plane (the “Service”), operated by sportsdata (“we”, “us”). By subscribing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

The Service provides access to sports and odds data as Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools that you connect to your own AI client (e.g. Claude Desktop, Cursor). You bring your own AI model key. The Service does not include the sportsdata agent application, which is offered separately.

2. Licence & acceptable use

• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the feeds your subscription includes, for the term you pay for.
• You must not resell, redistribute, sub-licence, or share your licence key or the Service’s output as a competing data product.
• You must not reverse-engineer, circumvent the licence, or use the Service unlawfully.
• Some feeds (e.g. X/Twitter) require your own third-party provider key; supplying and complying with that provider’s terms is your responsibility.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis via our payment processor (Stripe). Adding feeds increases your recurring charge (prorated). You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current period. See our Refund Policy.

4. Data — “as is”, availability, geo-restriction

• Data is provided for information only and is not betting or financial advice.
• Feeds depend on upstream sources that can change or become unavailable; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or completeness.
• Some gambling/odds feeds are geo-restricted and may not work from your location. You are responsible for checking availability before subscribing.

5. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable laws. Subject to those rights, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

6. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the feed catalogue; material changes will be notified. We may suspend or terminate access for breach. You may stop using the Service at any time.
